Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR)

Do you need to conduct the analytical testing for your products under the Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 – the Fertilising Products Regulation.

DNAL have been working with this regulation for a number of clients now and we are fully equipped to meet the specific testing suites to meet the requirements depending on your product.

Persistent organic pollutant (POPs) regulation applies to EU fertilising products; therefore, consideration must be given to which pollutants are relevant to each product.

Typically, organic material can contain POPs such as poly aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) which are some of the more toxic compounds associated to oils. Inorganic materials can contain high concentrations of elements and metal salts, some desirable whilst other components are less desirable.

DNAL are now equipped with a dedicated inert Shimadzu HPLC with post column derivatization to generate extremely low detection limits for the specific hexavalent chromium, specifically to apply to these tests regulations.
